The Materials Toolkit + Chapter
Within the DATEMATS initiative, several outputs have been produced: the EM&Ts Transfer Toolkit is one of these, combining different project results in one tangible artefact.
Aim of the toolkit is to provide a means to facilitate the understanding and application potential of new materials and innovative technologies.
Here you can create your own datasheet and toolkit box of a selected material and use it as an informative, didactic, technical and inspirational work sample. Have fun!

For more explanation you can check the chapter A Supporting Tool to Design with and for EM&Ts: The Materials Toolkit co-authored by Gemma Esteban, Geraldine Kann, Veronica Sarbach, and Daniela Amandolese and published in the book Materialising the Future (another DATEMATS project result) gives an exhaustive description of the so-called EM&Ts Toolkit, a collection of tangible samples displaying emerging materials and technologies and containing five samples for each EM&Ts:
- Advanced Growing EM&Ts
- Experimental Wood-based EM&Ts
- Interactive Connected Smarts (ICS) Wearable-based EM&Ts
- Nanomaterial EM&Ts.
